Research
I have a PhD in English from Cornell University. My manuscript explores ecopolitical questions about gender, race, poetics, and the sea in American literature. I also co-edit the Emily Dickinson Journal.
Teaching
I am currently the Joseph F. Martino ’53 Lecturer in the Department of Literatures in English at Cornell, where my teaching has been recognized with the Gitner Prize. You can read more about that here.
Poetry
I write poems often. Somewhat less frequently, some of them end up published. Sometimes even online.
